Solareye®80 Bat Hat
This variation reduces upwards light spillage by up to 98%, helping minimise the impact on nocturnal wildlife, such as bats. The warm white (2,700K) LED, as recommended by the International Dark Sky Association, minimises blue light emission, which has been found to affect the feeding patterns of bats.
Product Overview
At Solareye, we are passionate about helping businesses and local authorities create safe, comfortable, and enjoyable outdoor spaces, without compromising the natural environment.
When we learned that many nocturnal animals, particularly bats, are negatively impacted by artificial lighting at night, we developed an ecologically friendly solar ground light perfect for conservation-sensitive areas and dark sky reserves. This is how the Solareye®80 Bat Hat was born.
